Making an Exhibit in Omeka

I have found that creating ideas for what you want to do much easier than actually doing them. Building the framework is easy when it comes to making an exhibit, it’s the finding of items that I am having trouble with I have found things that I want to put in, but have no real relevance. But I have also found things that I don’t think are relevant but might have to put in.

The setting up of an exhibit specifically the framing of how I want you to explore my exhibit is easy, but the contextualizing of information is hard and makes me want to change my entire project to just a history of the Native tribes of the Pacific Northwest.

I have found art and photos that I can and want to use, but I just don’t know how to give them short but informative captions. I am having troubles with my original concept of a “Native Rights Timeline in the Pacific Northwest.” As one of my main issues is a paradoxical problem of too much and too little information across the region.
