I am taking HIST 390 on recommendation, to learn more I.T skills in a Digital Humanities settings. A few things about me, I am a fan of Sci-Fi and Fantasy. I grew up in Sammamish, Washington. A Few Hobbies Of Mine

I paint minis specifically Warhammer 40k and BattleTech. I love to read and listen to sci-fi and fantasy books, currently I am reading Loki’s Ring, For Glory and Honor, and Gideon the Ninth. For those not in the know, BattleTech and Warhammer 40k are franchises focused on satirical critique; specifically on politics and culture. BattleTech is a setting that has no “set” timeframe, its satire centers on the crux of humanity getting in its own way. Warhammer 40k is satirical of religious zealotry and political indoctrination, the main rub of Warhammer 40k is that there is no good guy, everyone is the villain.

My Minis

These minis are from the Clan Heavy Striker Star box from Catalyst games. These models are for the BattleTech tabletop game, they belong to the Periphery Clans. The Clans are an offshoot of Humanity that fled the Inner Sphere, the part of space that humanity occupies, after the Star League Civil War.
